Hello, I am looking for pictures of Snetterton especially the pit buildings and paddock area before the recent development. Any from the late 60s onwards would be of great help fo a model I am planning. If you dont wish to post pictures could you please PM me with what you might have available to purchase. I would be grateful for any help.

Regards, Lloyd

Good to see you back Lloyd, Snetterton pre pit wall is a bit before my time, there is a thread called Snetterton Memories, click on the blue letters (Snetterton Memories) and you'll be taken straight to a picture of a 1962 starting grid looking across towards the pits.

Here is another of a bike grid looking towards the pits I found on a motorcycle thread.

Also found this pic of the Jim Russell circa early 60's on the web using Google search which might be of interest :-)

Hope that gets you going look forward to seeing if some new pics turn up :-)

Thanks arttidesco, I appreciate your help. I have done a lot of searching on this and other forums and have seen most of what is on line, but would really like a better shot of the race control area and some of the paddock buildings. As you may remember from my previous queiry, I am making models of the cars I once worked on, and some of the opposition, so I have decided to make a track to show them on. Living in Norwich, Snett is handy for me, but I still need pics of the period.

Best regards, Lloyd
