FP3 starts in about 1 hour 45 minutes, which Qualifying starting in 4 hours 45 minutes. Current weather at Hockenheim is wet - if there's no more rain, a dry line will start to appear, however,
as noted here, there is a chance of further rain and showers this morning into FP3. If these hit Hockenheim, then Qualifying
could be on a damp circuit - if they don't, then it'll be dry.
If I was a betting man though, it'll be a Red Bull or Ferrari on pole today after yesterday's FP2's performances.

I believe in a strong showing from McLaren today, yesterday was not perfect but today they will close the gap to RedBull!

Well, it's 3:30 am in Toronto, and my McLaren-induced anxiety has kept me up all night.
Personally, I'm hoping for a damp quali/wet race, just to spice things up. I can't wait until FP3 to see where McLaren stands in comparison to the rest.

very true! I would personally like to see a drying circuit for tomorrows race. Drivers starting on inters (some gambling on dry weather tires) and then the gamble on when to come in! Would be fantastic

Nico Rosberg could be the guy, I have a feeling qualy wont be normal or dry. If its damp give Nico a look in, with Lewis, Sutil somewhere around the fringes. These variable conditions if they remain might suit Jenson as well.

And too hot and humid to sleep? And I thought I was an early riser. McLaren induced anxiety - Definitely see someone about it, it's only motor-racing.....

-Saw the start of the BMW race - if it´s wet here, only one side of the grid will be able to make a proper start.
-The other side will stay parked in the water...

Too dry for most of the circuit for wets or intermediates, but too wet at the hairpin for slicks.
McLaren not getting much running in here...
I was sure they would try for maximum this morning.
Also,
Felipe's radio conversations are hilarious... he gets LOADS of coaching from Rob Smedley, I find it incredibly strange how much Rob coaches him.

Seriously, it's incredible really. I don't know whether this is related to his crash/injury/crappy 2009 season or not though. Not sure if things were like this when he was flying high in 2008.

It might be a difficult day for Macs today.
Maybe we will have a fight between Redbulls and Ferrari for a change.

As far as I know... it has always been like this.
I remember people commenting on it, the season that him and Lewis Hamilton were both going for WDC.
I can understand that drivers need info etc.. but Rob seems to literally walk Felipe around each corner..

De La Rosa about to go out on options
Sutil out for the session - driveshaft failure
Looking at this....
I think the last ten mins should be a crazy ten mins, lap wise.
Pedro De La Rosa's radio saying that they are not going to clean the track for others... so all teams seem to be letting the track get cleaned by others...
With 20 mins left, I think they will all burst out near the end.

Buemi fastest on sllicks
Hamilton P4 in a little traffic.
6/7 tenths away from Webber... Alguersuari p2
Webber goes P1 with a 1:18.6
Jenson P2....
Massa P3, over a second down on Webber. But then improves to be only half a second down,
Button goes P1 with a 1:18
But Massa smokes him for P1
then Lewis goes P1 over a second quicker!!!
Damn, that live timing is still buggy as hell. Drivers jumping up and down the table and lots of duplicate names
