I wonder if anyone can help me locate some photos or old film/ video of the Le Mans race of 1951 and 1952. I am particularly looking for images of the Peter Clark Aston Martin ( no 27 in 1951 and 32 in 1952)
I am the new owner of thiscar and looking to put it back to its original colour and trim. So a colour photo would be perfect. I gather there are colour photos and film available if you know where to look !!???
I hope someone out there can help.

There is a full-page color picture of the #32 Aston Martin at Le Mans 1952 in "Thoroughbred & Classic Cars", February 1980, page 49. This picture appears to have been taken at the end of the race.
I also found a couple of b&w pictures of #32 in "Auto Sport Review" and "Auto Speed & Sport".
Send me a PM with your preferred email address if you wish to see scans.
Edit: The color picture I noted above is a larger and clearer version of the same picture in the link.
Thanks to both of you for your postings. This has thrown up some new images and at last one in colour. The job now is to link the green in the old photo to the actual colour in daylight!!!!
Hopefully we'll find some more colour shots yet.
