No, but I think he should voluntarily have a hiatus. There's nothing interesting left in this season, so he might as well enjoy a break.

No need for a ban. He just needs to race smarter with less dumb aggression. Hard to avoid the contact with Button imho though. Not that it matters now, but he probably should have got a drive- through for the Webber contact, Webber gave him plenty of room.

No. He was at fault for the Webber incident, but in those conditions, I think you have to put it down as one of those things. He didn't do anything wrong with the Button incident; he was faster made a decision about which side to go, and found Button closing the door.

I think Monaco needs to be looked at again given McNish's idiotic move au Mans today, if anyone's a danger to the world it's Allan. The Webber incident was a fluke in damp conditions, Schumacher's move on Hamilton was far more pre-meditated, and I'd be interested in seeing a replay of Button's on Hamilton, because it looked to me like he jinked left a LOT earlier than Vettel and the Ferraris did on that lap.

He needs his Dad back. He has lost his head big time. Something is missing, he had it in 07, 08, 09 and for most of 2010. Lewis just seems all over the place, less focused and more immature than ever. I'm a huge fan but I can be honest and say something has gone wrong with Lewis Hamilton,

Banned for his team mate making an error and not seeing him? That would be odd. Hamilton's a racer, he knows he can't just sit behind Button and watch the front pack get away. He made a decent move, his team mate cut him off.

No, it's a worthy enough topic. Although I question the initiator's motives...
The worry I have is that overtaking is hard enough as is. Hamilton tried three overtakes today that went wrong. Webber was a start shemozz, on a damp track, racing incident. The second saw Schumacher cynically push him onto the grass. The third was Button's one-or-two moves. The miasma of the Schumacher Rule. It needs a rethink - get rid of the moving rule, make someone stick to the line they're on when someone's overtaking, after all you can get them back, if you're better than them, on the same terms...

http://forums.autosport.com/index.php?showtopic=126880For the reasons stated. Webber has been a positive danger with his "overtake me and I will crash you out" attitude. That's the antithesis of racing. I could keep everyone behind me at Monaco in a Lada with that sort of driving.

lol thread makes me laugh , seriously ban , Micheal has committed bigger sins & got away , but that is not a excuse , but BAN that's just not right
I don't think he would be banned for one incident which the stewards saw fit not to penalise him for (a lucky escape for him IMO), and one incident where the majority of fault looks like it falls at the feet of his teammate.
So ban? No. For his own good does he need to curb his eagerness to pass at any chicnk of a gap? Yes.

As for claiming Lewis has had ONE incident?

I agree with the talented and fast but anyone who knows anything about motogp realises
that Simoncelli is being targeted by other drivers who quite frankly are just as aggressive.
I remember the whole grid ganging up on patrese and making his life a misery..it happens.
When you break down each individual incident Hamilton has been involved in recently, they can be viewed

Webber hardly ever gets penalized. It's the nature of things. Schumacher didn't get penalized for twice cheating to try to get the title (tippexing out "vice-champion" doesn't count) let alone the billion other incidents. Benetton didn't get penalized for software cheating and so on. Looking at penalties is a bit like saying Jack the Ripper never existed.

What else is he meant to say? Putting Button on blast will only attract more armchair experts slating that Hamilton is the anti-christ. This thread is as stupid as the Webber one after OZ last year calling for him to be banned, I think it should be closed personally.
