I didn't think he 'had' an FXX so much as was the only person allowed to drive it? Might be Alonso these days, of course.

Ferrari has built 30, adding one special edition to the 29 that were originally planned. The original 29 have all been sold to pre-selected past Ferrari customers. The 30th was retained by Ferrari S.p.A. and presented to Ferrari's F1 World Champion driver, Michael Schumacher, when he retired from Formula One racing at the end of 2006. Schumacher's FXX differs from others in being black without a stripe, having red trimed wheels, matte rather than chrome exhaust tips, and his personal logo stitched on the racing seats.
he went on top gear as the stig with it.

yeah, probably because it is not road legal, and he can only drive it at tracks. so not much of a car.
QUOTE (Buttoneer @ Jul 6 2011, 12:02)

maybe its because the FXX all stay with ferrrari , you arent alowed to take them away and you can only drive them when ferrari invite you to a special track day
sounds like a good way for rich people to be relieved of 1.8million dollars..
i believe schumacher also had a ferrari 430 in black? didnt ferrari generally give him one of every car they made while he was with them? surely he kept them all to, im sure he had a few fiats aswell

I thought Jaime had also a BMW. I think I remember watching some Youtube videos from him driving a BMW with friends.

I would have far more respect for an M5 wagon than an X5. I can see Webber wanting a pickup in Australia if he has a ranch, but in my opinion SUVs are completely useless. Heavy, high centre of gravity is the antithesis of all engineering principles.

Keke used to drive a genuine Caroll Shelby Cobra. And those cars, if you did not really know how to drive, were lethal.
Actually I remember Keke paying the owner with cash AND his at the time personal road car Ferrari.

Yet different companies claim they are good off-roaders.
Seriously? who the hell's willing to go off-road in a 70K vehicle? that is of course if the SUV is actually capable of going off-road. I can only see Land Rovers as good candidates.

The rally car from the video with drifting, or a normal road version?
Getting back home from the Monaco GP this year, through the streets of Montecarlo I was sitting behind a white 458 Italia, with a pretty curious number plate:
AA 3458
I've always wondered since then if that could be Alonso, with the two A's as Aces for his 2 world championships.
Also the numbers are pretty special, with the name of the car in it....
Can anyone tell me if i'm right?
