I am the Oracle. I know the past, the present and the future accurately. However in most cases I'm wrong. Unfortunately

I have this nasty feeling we have met before.

Hi Everyone ,
I'm a longtime 36 year old Motorsport fan in London and am looking forward to discussing the wonderful world of motorsport on here with you peeps . Best
funkx486
Hi, im in London in the UK. I first started to watch F1 in the early 80's and BTCC during the RS500 sierra eras. My favorite F1 driver's are all British drivers with one exception, the master, Gilles Villeneuve.

Wotcher.

F1 afficianado since the '80s...living in the UK but am an Aussie. More a fan of the sport than an individual/team but what can I say - I do like it when Webber has a good one smile.gif

Hi all

I've been a big fan of F1 for about 20 something (ok maybe 30 something) years now. Was a big fan of Piquet senior, & hope junior can soon get a handle on things. Always hope Webber goes well. Alonso & Raikkonen are cool too. smile.gif

Cheers

Hello everyone, I hope to have lot's of fun here. smile.gif

Hello. smile.gif

I've been reading these pages for a year now and thought I may as well sign up. I'm 15 and from Derby, and have supported Ferrari for as long as I can remember, though I must admit to nursing a soft spot for Red Bull, without really knowing why.

Hello everyone,

Long time lurker here, decided to register and give my two penn'orth! Been a F1 fan since 1979 and only missed a few races when they coincided with hot dates in my teen years!
In the last ten years I've been following series in the whole single-seater ladder wherever possible and follow the US scene too.

Pleased to meet ya! drunk.gif WaB

Hi Guys,
I'm Daz and i've been reading the forums for a while and finally decided to register. I have been a total petrol head for as long as I can remember and altho I am a massive F1 fan my one true love is touring cars! In F1 I am probably best described as a Mclaren/Hamilton fan but like many others I have a soft spot for Jenson, that being said there are not many of the drivers on the grid that I have not met on their way to F1 and so I tend to cheer quite a few of them on particularly: Massa, Fissi, Ruebens, and Kubica.

In my spare time I'm a race marshal and so am quite involved in all levels of the sport. As a marshal I tend to have a different perspective to some fans but am no less passionate about the sport I just tend to moderate my views altho that can be hard at times!

Hello everybody, I'm a F1 enthusiast since 1986 supporting drivers rather than teams.
Senna (all time best), Hakkinen and now Kubica.

I am a 27 year old armchair F1 fan. In the last couple of seasons I have started to enjoy a few BTCC on Sunday afternoons.

I am a F1 enthusiast living in Australia. I try to visit one GP a year as well as a trip to Goodwood , IOM TT or the MotoGP occasionally.

I like to follow the technical side and to understand the rules applied.

Hi everyone !

I'm Jeroen, 37 years old and i'm from Holland. I've been lurking this bb for years, and finally decided to join. I've done some foruming (don't even know if that's a word LOL) in the past, but that was several years ago. I've been a Ferrari-fan since i can remember, it seems i was one at the age of 5 already ... I love a good discuccion, although, to my taste , things tend to get off-topic way too often. Anyway, i'm looking forward to some intersting topics, and hope i can be of value to them...

Max!
Hi, I'm Max and I'm an autoholic.

Actually that is not only another membership, but also not true. I don't like cars as such, only the technical master pieces. As for racing I only follow F1 and if it gets televised in my country A1GP.
Can't remember how long I have been following F1, but it must be for several decades. The last ten years I even started to follow the F1 politics and machinations. Fascinating stuff and it fills the time between races. Over time I read about everything I could; I even scrutinized the old Concorde agreement and always read the full text of FIA decisions. Quite unlike most of the fans who hate the political side of F1. As a result I follow most of the larger forums and enjoy the discussions.

I just recently joined this forum to contribute to the discussions. Unfortunately I did so at the major outburst of anti Max Mosley feelings. As my name happens to be Max and it was only available with an exclamation mark most people think I only registered to defend MM. I hope to show that I last longer than that and to be able to participate in other discussions as well.

G'day everyone, Aussie fan here wave.gif
Thought I better start here and let you all know a little about myself.

I've been watching F1 since around '78 or '79 and am totally hooked.
Williams will always be my favourite team, and Senna my favourite driver.
I've only attended 4 GP's in that time (Aus' 85, '05, '08, '09) which is a bit of a shame, but plan on seeing more smile.gif
Being Aussie I follow Mark Webber and Red Bull and hope to see Mark's first win this weekend !
I'm 41, have 3 kids that unfortunately don't have my passion for motor sport, but that's ok.

Anyway, I look forward to talking to you all.

Simon.

Salutations!

I've been following F1 since 1995 and have been an avid fan ever since.

Originally supported Eddie Irvine, a man of skill and somewhat of a character, the latter being something sadly missing nowadays! After he retired, I remained a supporter of Jaguar and now Red Bull Racing.

Although I've been an Autosport subscriber for sometime, I've only browsed the forum a few times and have only just got around to posting! I think we all need a place to state our disgust at Mosley! ;)

Hello; I am a man living in London.

I accidentally fell for F1 when I was young, naive and impressionable. The man - then boy - who got me into it is now the press officer at Mclaren having previously written for this hallowed organ but all I have to show for it is the comedy F1 website www.pitflaps.co.uk

It's an attempt to marry a regret I'm not doing what he's doing with the uncomfortable feeling this ridiculous, bloated, self-important sport wouldn't actually be worth it. In the meantime, I shall be skulking around the boards doing the impression of someone who knows what he's talking about and thinks that might matter to other people...which I think is the general drill.

Hey all. I've been a motorsport fan for about 13 years now. I've been lurking here for a while and I'm getting so frustrated by all the politics lately that I'd thought I'd finally chime in. wave.gif

Hey friend, a very warm welcome from the Netherlands!

Thanks a lot. Greetings from shinny Greece. We have a long time to enjoy a successful GP, so I hope that this will turn to our favor! Just wishing that all these smiles of progress won't mean that we will are losing something from 2010 development. We are made only for the top!

Hello everybody. New member here from Spain, 31, following F1 since Senna-Prost rivalry.

After a few years lurking around finally I decided to register and contribute to the forum.

Living in Oviedo, hometown of Fernando Alonso, you can imagine the driver I like the most. But I am not a fanboy at all, and I like and enjoy good racing from any other driver.

As for the teams, my fav one is Ferrari.

MotoGP: Rossi is my favourite rider. I like Stoner and Lorenzo too.

Greetings!

Well, if you've been doing it for that long, don't worry about the timing. Just piss off whomever you can as floridly and intelligently as possible. You'll find that the folks who matter will leap to your defence even if they disagree with you. cool.gif

After that, make friends and influence people! tongue.gif

Welcome to the funny farm of the BB. I trust your lengthy following of F1 will give you better perspective than some members who appear to have come in as new fans who support unwaveringly one driver only. Hamilton and Alonso bigot-fanboys abound here and add heat without light to the frequent arguments here.

My real No 1 love is Motorcycle GP (pre MotoGP really) and Stoner and Lorenzo are favourites of mine.

Again welcome and hope to hear your opinions expressed clearly. up.gif

Hi all. Thought it polite to introduce myself. I am a fan of no particular driver anymore, my allegiance was to the great M Shumacher whom I started watching before he joined F1. If I was to have any sort of allegiance, I would have to say Ferrari for their passion. Looking forward to some interesting threads.

Hey guys, new to the forum, previously from planet-f1. I always prefered the the attitudes on this forum and have finally have made the switch.

Im living in Melbourne, originally from NSW, and have been following F1 like a stalker since 1994.

Hi, everyone.

I joined a couple of years ago, so I thought it was about time I did some posting! I have been following motorsport since 1959. I live in the UK and I work in the motor trade as a consultant technician.
Luca Pacchiarini
Hi everyone wave.gif
I've been reading this forum for a while

My name is Luca Pacchiarini, I'm from Empoli, near Florence, Italy.
I'm 19 years old and I'm a student...going to the University soon...Foreign Languages course

I started watching racing at the age of seven (1997), cheering for Jacques Villeneuve in F1 and for Alex Zanardi in CART.
These days I mainly watch Superbikes though.... but also F1 and Indycar.

I found this forum because I really like to learn about old racing (I love the Nostalgia section)
I like to read about eras I missed... because I wasn't born yet....

Hi there.
I've decided to join the forums after reading them over the course of the current F1 season. And what a season.

I'm living in Brooklyn, NY- not really the hub of Formula One fandom, theres not too many people I can converse with about my favorite sport in real life. I think I have only met 4 or 5 real F1 fans here over the last few years.

I grew up in Australia, so naturally I support fellow New South Welshman Mark Webber. He's having a career season and i was just so pleased with his maiden pole and win in Germany. I'm also a fan of the young Vettel, ever since he stormed that win in the STR last year.
RBR has a great driver pairing and its good to see next season will be the same.

Its a shame STR are just so boring this year. Not really a fan of Buemi or Algueseuri, and I never liked Bordais. I expected someone to finish in the midfield this year, heres hoping one of them will have a change of pace in the last 5 races.

Very 'appy about Fisico's arrival at Ferrari. I'll be solidly cheering him on at Monza, interested to see if he can get close to Kimi's times.
A fitting end to a dignified career.

Renault- OMG Renault.
If these race-fixing allegations are true I think the team will be disolved. I just can't stand Briatore anyway, i hope hes the architect and gets banned for life.

Time will tell.

Next year I'm hoping to see a return of Team Lotus, even if its only in spirit. I'd also like to see 3-car teams, the return of Schu, some paint on those damn Brawn cars, less drama off-track, Vatanen as FIA president, the return of Montreal to be a success, Turkey, Valencia and China to be dropped from the menu, and Webbo as WDC.
One can dream...
I look forward to chatting with you all. Any Noo Yawker F1 fans let me know you're out there.
overmatik
