VERY difficult round! Nobody guessed Fisichella (even fisichella_2001 ), nobody guessed Alonso (he is brilliant, isn't he?). Thus, results were established by KR guesses.

The combination of Ferrari current "Wacky Races" mode, unstable weather, funny/puny regulations and unexpected perfomances by some teams is making this game more difficult than drive a Mercedes in Le Mans without flipping it.

Making a quick resume of the guesses set, almost all the votes went to MS (33 out of 43, 77%), KR (24, 56%), RB (22, 51%), DC (21, 49%) and JPM (20, 47%). And very far away were some votes for RS, MW, JVE(Jos), JT and JW(!).

Some interesting facts from there: MS goes on being the main fav , but his popularity is decreasing, Kimi is already the second best bet in F1, Rubinho is recognised as a decent bet , nevertheless Williams not great competitivity, Montoya goes being a major player . Interestingly, Ralph only get 4 paltry guesses, there is so much difference between those two? Also interesting is Renault just got one guess (and for Trulli). I suppose after this race the french cars are going to get more support .

Ferrari was considered the best team to bet for: 57 guesses, seconded by Mac (45) and then Williams (24), and the rest at an abysmal distance.

Well, it's embarrasing but... MAX won this round (because he guesses automaticly after the previous race has ended), but other 6 players got the same amount of 3 points: LB, kismet, TT6, RicBol, Apex, sek and... Schummy

There were so many "disasters" that it is not worthy to point out them ... except it is remarkable to see Estwald and SeanValen there with 0 points

Definitively I will not use any system to give points for missed rounds (it will not get any points!), but in case of absolute tie, I will prefer a "miss" over a "zero point"

We will meet in Imola (well, virtually). Just by now this game is being mostly surprising ... I am even beginning to think the unthinkable ... I cannot even articulate it now... more next time

I have to say I am reasonably happy with my start.



I would have thought it was fairer to prefer a zero point over a miss. Otherwise what is the incentive to get a guess in if you have no idea what podium to guess. With your preference it would then be safer to not bother putting in a pick than to have a go. Isn't it better to reward the effort rather than the apathy?

Even I wasn't optimistic enough to put Fisi on the podium!

I must agree. It is not fair or right to penalise those that bother against those that don't. A wrong guess is surely better than nothing at all?

It seems Fisi will get the win after all! If it happens, the first 8 players will pass from 3 points to 2 points: even worse scores

About the tie-break rule prefering a mis over a zero, it must be seen as an unlikely thing to apply because it will be used if someone ties with equal points in every round of the season So, not a big thing really.

Nevertheless, I liked the old chinese proverb: "If you can't say anything clever, is better not to say anything" (it's to say, it's better not to put a guess than put a disastrous one ) Well...it is not a chinese proverb, but you get the point

I was thinking about rewarding some points for misses. It would be fun to risk a loss if one put a guess, at least we could have some laughs here But in the end, I thought this season is being already to hard to predict, and I didn't want to mess the game.
