Of course my PC's programmes have German names. Therefore I don't know if the following is of any help to English language speaking TNFers.
On my PC I can click on "Programme". Next I can click on "Zubehör", next on "Systemprogramme" and then on "Zeichentabelle" (which should translate into something like "index of characters") where all those foreign letters are listed.
For instance if you want to write Jarek Janis' name correctly (Janiš) you have to keep the "Alt" push-button down and type "0154" on the Zahlenquadrat (digits' square?) at the right side of your key board. What you get is: š.
BTW: Meanwhile we have either Czech names or Slovakian names.;)
