I am planning to get tickets in Stand 33. Any "cons" in buying a seat there ?
In which section of the stand should I buy the tickets ?

Any of the silver sections will give you a pretty good view. Section 15, for me, is the best value for your money. It is at the hairpin, and no one will stand up and block your view when the cars approach.

grandstand 15 is sold out, in my opinion 24 is the best of the silver that is available

If you can swing 24, 24 is great, if not though I've sat in 33 and it wasn't bad, plus it is very easy to get to and to leave from.

What do you feel about watching the race with a 1.5 year old kid ? That's my dilemma right now.

Well first of all you will DEFINATELY need heariung protection.
Secondly you are okay up till the race, once the race starts you are packed in there pretty good.
Thirdle, just rememmber toilet facilties aren't that great, port-a-potties and long lines at times.
Down near the hairpin (GS 24) would definately be better for you, the facilities are better, theres a nice place to sit out on the rowing basin. All kids are different but this is a difficult choice.

Hey, anyone want to swap Sat. seats with us. We have 2 seats in GS 12 hi up & would swap almost anywhere but the hairpin(we've done that before). Across from the pits would be great.
