I was planning on going to the historic races at Schenley Park in Pittsburgh this summer--anyone have some pointers (good viewing-spots, places to take the girlfriend out to dinner, etc.)?

I can't give you any specific pointers because I just happened upon it by accident the one summer I lived in Pitt (1995). If memory serves me correct, you can move around very freely (no seats, just sitting on the grass) and take in a number of decent viewing spots. There was downhill hairpin that is definitely worth watching.

Cool... that'll be good, as me and the lady-friend both like taking pictures (she just switched her major to photography in fact), so we can get quite a few good shots during the races cool.gif
