Results:
Qualifying was a bit tricky this time – no perfect scores, but Alapan takes his third (!) pole position of the year with a dominant performance that puts him almost 2 points ahead of the best of the rest. That’s what bold choices can do when Lady Luck is benevolent, or maybe it’s skill after all.
Turns out that the on-track mess we witnessed on Sunday translates into a rather predictable set of duel outcomes after all. Predictable to some of us, anyway. There’s even one perfect score, by The Kanisteri who earns the coveted Michael Schumacher Award with his race-day excellence.
And, again, we have a new overall winner as The Kanisteri rises from the ashes (or the bottom of the championship table, if you will) like Phoenix (the bird) and claims his first F1 Pools GP win ahead of Prostfan and kismet (Ha! I knew I still had it in me – and I didn’t even rig the results or anything
