Has anyone ever used GP Tours? I am definitely going to Indy next year and I was wondering if it is a better deal to use GP Tours or book everything myself? I did notice from GP Tours website that they often have drivers appear at special events for GP tours. Is this a good deal?

If were talking about Indy I would do it yourself. Tickets are plentyful. You should be able to find a room pretty easily and after this years visit if you want to see a driver etc. plan on showing up for the Thursday pitwalk and you should be able to see/meet/get a autograph from most of the drivers there at IMS.

As for GPT's driver party etc. It is ok. You will gather in a large room at a hotel. Driver will come in and answer questions for 30, 45, maybe an hour and then bolt (unless something has changed) with little to no chance to interact etc. (you will have to be quick to cath them on the way out).
