May I ask a favour? I'd be very grateful if someone could provide me with the full results - the heats and the final - for the 1962 Monaco Formula Junior races.

As a small aside, David Hodges in his book The Monaco GP points out that Arundell's average speed of 67.15 mph comfortably exceeded the previous year's lap record of 66.81 mph set by Trevor Taylor in a Lotus 20. Such was the rate of progress!

  Thank you very much, gentlemen.
My main interest was in Ryan's performance. I had read somewhere that he had won a heat but wasn't sure - you can't believe everything you read on the internet. I knew that he didn't figure in the final. I wonder what went wrong: bad start? mechanical troubles? overexuberance?

I am just popping here to say that I am pleased to see another fan of Pete Ryan out there...

Where is our Manfred Cubenoggin? He may know something about Ryan's exploits in Monaco.
GIGLEUX
In the last lap of his qualifying heat, Ryan went slightly off track, he nevertheless won but with damages to a wheel and suspension. Repairs were made but were not effective enough as he was obliged to stop to his pit several times during the final. (he started from middle of row 1 of the starting grid).

I think this photograph was taken at Monaco 1962.
The car is a Brabham BT2, but ... Who's car is it ? ( Jo Schlesser, Frank Gardner or Gavin Youl ) ...
Who is the man beside the car ?
