Its been a few days since I've had internet access, but here is the rest of my pics from the Canadian GP weekend. After the Canadian GP, i made my way to NYC for a few days!

On to New York....

well the Indy F1 race was quite an experience.. My friend and i were guest of RedBull. We were in Eddie Cheever's suite. (every winner of the Indy500 gets a suite) The event itself is really good. Lot's of european F1 fans everywhere! I was in the plaza on friday & met an "F1 mum" from Sth Africa who lives in London, a very very passionate Shuey fan!! Then later someone called out "sith" It was JonPollock!!! I went to the Speed party that night, JP has the evidence on how i managed to get in! We had the meet and greet on sat night, finally got to meet IndycarJunkie!!! I was hoping Trow would be there, but he wasn't. As for the race, and it's drama the fans at the track had no idea that there was a huge problem unfolding, they were saying nothing over the p.a system.. I was very fortunate that Mat was giving me minute by minute updates from Australia leading up to the start. I even gave Bumper a call in London wanting to know what ITV were saying. I was relaying all this info to everyone in the suite. Once the race started, the crowd were in shock at 1st, then started to boo!!! Yes it was a farce, but the rebel in me was Fckn wrapped that those teams finally stuck it up the F.I.A, Bernie and Ferrari!!!! Last night me and JP went to the Redbull party. Like all Redbull parties, it was going off!

Sith, Indy, et al. Sorry, I missed the meet & greet Saturday night. Bad food at one of the local restaurants, I think. Ended up sick in the hotel room all night and spent Sunday at the race running a fever. I was all I could do to drive back to the hotel and get back in bed.

Feeling better today after the long drive back to DC. Maybe next year, although I think I'm going to Montreal instead.

Anyway, thanks for the great pics! You know how to live.

Good to hear you're feeling much better Scott! I had the same thing happen to me when i was at the Indy500, my tummy was rumbling for a few days!! The meet and greet was good, we were joined by the Robert, he's the man who produced the "50 years F1 on board" will put the pic up later..

Sorry Suzy, i'm going back to Australia tomorrow... I'll be over in London in 8 weeks (in between the Italian and Belguim G.P's) Maybe JP will be at Silverstone?? Why don't you check out the "London pub thread" and see how many people from there are going to the British G.P?

Sith, it was great meeting you, jonpollak & miniplum. jaisli with his lovely (slightly pregnant) wife was at the Hard Rock when I got there but he must have missed you guys. I look forward to seeing more of his photos and I plan on posting some of mine in a day or two.

I went to Monza today, some of those corners are amazing!!! (esp Lezmo 1!) I took a few pics, but this part of the tour wil be pretty lame.. I'm just so over all the HUMIDITY that seems to have followed me to all these races!!! Never thought i'd be looking forward to a wet and cold Spa!!! (maybe?)

I was at Monza the other day (lobbying the idiots and their proposed noise restriction) when I ran across this little gem on the ducting in the tunnel under the main straight.
