What you have to look for, elno, is the vertical perspective. The vertical lines in the centre of the illustration must be vertical on the page. If you look at the rear end of the monocoque, and the LH radiator, they are not far from vertical, so I think it is printed more or less as Vic Berris drew it. I can't see anything wrong with the wheels...
It is very frustrating when an illustration is printed in the wrong orientation, and can look very wrong!

Two very nice cutaways, Ibsen. Bruno Betti always gets his red cars to look so red! However, I'm not sure I'd want to drive the Mefistofele with so much slack in the drive chain! Perhaps that's how it always was...
Wasn't that the car with the 25 liter aero engine?

I pointed out back then that I knew it was part of the press kit but didn't have one of those.
By now, I finally managed to get a scan of a 89CE cutaway, a color one no less, I didn't know that that one existed too.
Point is: I don't know, nor have time/abilities to put images on the Internet. I am just about helpless with Internet.
But: if you pm me your email address I wil forward you the image and then to you the honor to put it in this thread, apart from adding it to your collection.
Is that an acceptable deal to you?

I am NOT an artist, or draftsman, and not sure if it should even be posted in this thread, but it is something I did my best on. It is my best rendering of what sort of changes will be needed to begin their model conversion of the 1/18 Exoto Cam2 car into a proper representation of the real car. I enjoy doing this sort of thing, but realize it is not in the league of the REAL artists who have been shown on this site.

I did this by removing "th." (for thumbnail) from each of the URLs. When processing the photos with Imageshack you need to select the option that reads (something like) 'Hot link for forums' and they should come out full-size.

I'm just 100 pages short of at least quickly looking at the titles of all 524 pages on the nostalgia site here. I've found lots of interesting and obscure things I never knew about, but found when I hit around 350 and up, a most of the images that individuals had posted in the replies are not showing up, and most of the links to other websites come up as no longer working. I will still finish off the last 100 pages, because I'm sure some great new info will still pop up.

I used to have a Porsche book which had the blueprints for the 917/10 CanAm car (they were reduced a lot to fit into the small-ish book however). I went though all of the pages of this thread, and didn't see it (of course, I might have overlooked it). I saw it again while Googgling, on the Pelican Parts website, but when I tried to access it, it didn't come up.

Not sponsored by Fiat. I think it is a (circa 1975) brazilian translation and adaptation of an italian enciclopedia. No reference about that. Most photos and drawings have Quattroruote credit.
