1985 MG Metro 6R4. Artist unknown.

Austin-Rover Metro 6R4. Artist, Jones.
I have often seen these two works 'captioned' as two different, distinct species of the 6R4.
The coloured work it appears, is intended to represent the Austin-Rover Metro 6R4 and the black and white drawing the 'international' tune MG Metro 6R4.
The newer 'International' tune MG Metro 6R4 (In black and white) is said to have both an increased wheelbase and an increased track.
With this in mind, accepting my scaling is out by more than a few percent, I wonder, is there any room for manoeuvre here, regarding the differing track and wheelbase?

The great 6R4 comparison!
Another thing, (Though not a serious observation). I wonder why mirrored glass or chrome, always seems to reflect the same area of the Nevada desert?
Could it be that this humble 6R4, and countless other examples, are being specially shipped out to Utah, just prior to being drawn, sketched or photographed?
