My dad is coming over to England from S.A. to watch the F1 with me and we are excited he arrives on the thurs. does anyone recommend if we should leave the thursday and maybe stay an extra nite or is it ok to arrive on the friday morning? how is the availability for the campsites on the first come first serve basis. any recommendations?

Also we are taking a train from Worcester park...???? any ideas on any better connections and £££fairs.....

Less than a month to go

most of the campsites are on a first come first served basis, personally we go down on the thurs as its easier and more likely you will get a decent spot
we normally stay at litchlake which is behind the old jordan factory

I've always aimed to get there on the thursday afternoon, and again usually stay at Litchlake.
I find by thursday evening it's usually getting quite busy.
Also the earlier you arrive, the nearer to the circuit entrance you can pitch up!
