BTW, Ferodo is the worlds leading friction material manufacturer, so while they do make and sell discs, their real forte is brake pads and shoes. They have a marvelous factory in Mondovi, near Turin which includes not only state of the art chemical and mechanical systems for sintering and pressing friction material, but also includes a karting track to test product and a huge brake dyno (used for testing locomotive braking systems).
