The 'animal' referred to is this one being discissed on 04 on this forum:
Motor racing mechanics are renowned for their robust humour. When the guys at Jaguar Racing were told that their futures were at stake, they took a cue from World War I and decided they were 'lions led by donkeys'. They thought a donkey was a more appropriate symbol for the management than the 'Big Cat'.

If you have seen 'Shrek' and/or 'Shrek 2' you will have seen Donkey (voiiced by Eddit Murphy) steal the show. One of the guys bought an inflatable Donkey and took it to the races from Monza on and it was photographed doing tyre changes, setting up cars, everything.

Tony Purnell was seriously unamused and said it was 'lowering the tone' as though Ford's handling of Jaguar could sink any lower.

I have 33 rolls of B&W negatives with 36+ photos on each roll I would like to sell. the subject matter is Indianapolis/Champ car races and people 1963 to 1966. I am looking to get $2000 US for the collection. That works out to less than $2.00 each. Do you have any interest?
