I am going to see the final race of the season. One problem, the ticket buying site is terrible. I need help, especially from those who have been to the race before.

Qs:

1) Which seats are the best overall?
2) Which are the best for the value?
3) Which has the best view and highest grandstands? (I'm assuming that sitting higher up has better views)
4) Is there ANYWHERE else to buy tickets (for less, not via GP Tours)? I can't even choose seats when I checkout, it's just for the

Best value: Grandstand A, but you have to be there really early (like 7am) to secure a good spot which will allow you to see most of the infield, the junction and the straight. The only places you wont be able to see (the senna S and the back-straight) you can follow in the big screen (which is best seen from a specific spot, hence the need to get there early).

Of course, there are better (and way more expensive) spots, like the ones in front of the Senna S (garanteed action), but A is my personal choice.

I advise you only buy tickets there.

Since 1997 I go to the A sector..

it´s one of the best views and have some trees to lay on the shadow in the afternoon...

you need to be fast, or you won´t find good hotels to stay..

Sector G is the biggest one, has a great view but it´s very difficult for you to get a good seat to watch the race...

you´ve also the sector B that is in front of the pits.. and also with a great view to the entire pit lane...

Anywhere but sector G, the opposite straight.
People from all Latin American camp in front of the circuit entry after Saturday to get the best seats at the extreme of the stands.
Then, as the seats are not numbered, they reserve places to their buddies, blocking the last section stand in front of the braking zone.
Everywhere else is OK, as Interlagos is one of the best circuits to watch bcs you can see a big percentage of the track as it sits in a kind of valley.

Sector A - before the pit entry - rocks.
You can see the cars comming in at low speeds and all the slow mid section of the track.
Also cars at full throttle in the straights and a piece of the opposite straight braking zone.

The stands in front of Senna S is great too.
A lot of crashing and overtaking.

About the hotels try Transamerica and Hilton Morumbi, where F1 sits in Brazil.
Alternativelly Bluetree Morumbi.
Even though it is far, try any Hotel in the Santo Amaro or Morumbi.
There is nothing closer to Interlagos.

It's only in Portuguese language.
Enable pop-ups in this page only and the a new screen will show the list of stands availlable and the price.
The exchange rate is around 1 USD = 2,25 Real.

It will ask for a CPF/CNPJ to loggin, that is the ID doc in Brazil.
Then you go to your data page, etc, etc...

This option is not well suited to foreign people.
