Treacle
Hi there everyone,
I have an extremely rare part for sale and unsure of the best place to advertise it, so if anyone has any recomendations of other places to advertise please say so.

I bought the turbo to fit to my Toyota Celica GT4 project car, but have decided to sell due to the fact that I need money for other things and hence I am thinking about reducing the aims of my project somewhat.

As there is no other turbo's like this for sale I don't really know what its worth so I am open to offers and any advice on what people think the setup is worth is more than welcome.

This really is a one of a kind oportunity for someone and you are unlikely to ever see one like this for sale again 8)

The turbo I have got is something very rare and special, it is a little known Toyota racing Turbo known as a CT34r, which was fitted to the Toyota 4T-GT Le Mans car as pictured below:

The Toyota 4T-GT Le Mans car that used this turbo has a 2090cc straight 4 cylinder engine. There is some info available by searching online but this is very limited.
The car made between 500-600bhp (depending on year) and peak power was between 7500-8000rpm (depending on year) with peak torque at around 4600rpm.

The turbo is in brand new condition, as shown below, and appears to have never been fitted to a car or to have been rebuilt as new. The turbo comes complete with professional metal plates and latex covers to insure that it stays that way until it is fitted. Pics of the turbo are below:

I got the turbo complete with all titanium 3” pipework (including downpipe) which is proper race quality, you would not see better welds on an F1 car! It also came with extremely complicated and expensive looking clamps as shown! I planned on re-using most of this on the car, obviously with some adapting. It will also require the fabrication or adaptation of an exhaust manifold. All of this pipework will be for sale with the turbo.

Pictures of the pipework are below:

The turbo also came with a wastegate, although this is a little old school, so I decided to get a nice shiny new 50mm HKS one to complement the set up. The photos below show the old and new wastegates:

The HKS wastegate costs more than £600 new (this one is new, still in the box) and is available for sale with the turbo or without, however I won't sell it if I don't sell the turbo. I would accept quite a bit less than the new price for it however.

Anyway, any ideas on price or offers to tempt me welcome ;)

The old schol wastegate, can I see more of it without that yellow tape?
How much for the turbo only?
