I have Rob Walker's personal BRDC badge given to me by the man himself. Could anybody give me an idea of the value of this, or details of a website that deals in these badges.

Technically, I understand, ownership rights over such badges reside with the Club...

If you search the BB you will unearth a thread last year about a slightly dubious Jim Clark BRDC badge.

On the assumption that RRCW was a prominent but not so "collectable" figure in motor sport then an e-bay advert for this item would probably realise somewhere in the region of 1/2 the £2K that the Clark badge reached.

Without depressing you too much, read the thread and judge for yourself whether it is yours to sell !

I recall that, at a Coys Festival some years ago, an automobilia trader was ejected from the trade mall for trying to sell certain items of BRDC regalia which, I believe, remain the property of the club.

Do BRDC members have to purchase badges for their cars ? Or are they free issue ?
