Ivan
I'm stealing this idea from the Nostalgia thread. If we put the "Modern" stuff here we won't have to go from thread to thread in the RC to look at the stuff cool things we all find.

Maybe an admin will make this a sticky

I'll start with this One
F1Fanatic.co.uk
Pardon my self-promotion, but there's some more here via my own site and also some drivers doing adverts.
#99
is this limited to F1 or are other forms of motosport allowed?
Buttoneer
Is this to put them into a nice easy-to-censor thread for Bernies lawyers or have they decided to stop doing that?
Ivan
#99,
sure why not
Buttoneer,
I thought of that and this argument is in the Nostalgia thread as well. To me Bernie knows this stuff is out there he won't need us to confirm it. And maybe he will see the need to have these things out there to help make the sport grow and not to have such a draconian control over it.
It's like bootleg tapes everyone will find a way to get their fix of something.

here is another one

Actually I think that shows that Zonta has remarkably good sense - looked in his mirrors, put it in the middle and backed off slightly. up.gif

They are late models, they have at least 700 bhp and do well over 150 mph, sideways, door to door, on dirt.

hey man,
don't sweat it.
do you really think they would make a comment like that if they had a clue,
or that they might try to listen to somebody else after making such a comment?
don't waste your time.

How much do you lot actually know about motor racing?

what's amateur is:
-spin other driver
-jump through windshield
-go wrestling
-fat as pig

Oh, and anyone can control 700hp if he practises a bit.

Amateurs.

No DC didn't get in trouble for wearing the cape but Mighty Max has been on his case ever since!

This video shows really how the Renault's driver position is the lowest of all, can Alonso see anything? smile.gif

http://video.google.es/videoplay?docid=-50...1&q=F1+on+board

I've recently read that they were working in McLaren to lower his position at the wheel to make it similar to the Renault as Alonso had asked for it.
prty
You can compare it with BMW (I don't know who's the one driving):

http://youtube.com/watch?v=dCwtQHt0EGI

Or a champcars one:

http://youtube.com/watch?v=A-T9jGIgy8I

Back in 1994 they saw a lot more because of the lack of head security:

wingwalker
its hard to compare those vids as the camera was in different positions inside of helmet each time.

I think that they sit pretty low.

I have driven FFord and F2000 cars, and had a much clearer and higher view in them. That was however 14 years ago, no ide what a modern FFord is like to sit in.

If It mean anything, I have very short legs and stand 172 cm tall
