This wonderful series capture the colours, sounds, famous drivers, cars and Australian circuits in the 1960’s. The Tasman Series features Jim Clark in the Lotus taking on Graham Hill and the newly emerging Jackie Stewart in his BRM plus a host of locals in Frank Gardner, Kevin Bartlett, Spencer Martin, Frank Matich et al, racing at Lakeside, Sandown, Warwick Farm and Longford, many of these legendary circuits now sadly long gone. This is a unique snapshot of World Championship drivers who after finishing their world title fight in the Northern Hemisphere continued their battle down under during the Antipodean summer. Coming up for release in January – A Gentlemans Motor Racing Diary Volumes 4 & 5 which will complete this outstanding NEW 5 volume series. This series (each volume a 2DVD set) runs some 18 hours in total and traces some of the most amazing motor sport from 1953 through to 1973 all shot in glorious colour around the numerous circuits of Europe & the UK and takes in everything from Grand Prix and World Sportscar Championships to World Speed records at Montlehrey & Monza etc. Its hosted by renowned racer and TV presenter Tiff Needell and is a must for motor sport & motoring history fans.
