Hello all just joined this forum ,thought i'd say hello ,i have been a fan of F1 for over 20 year's now and my First visit to a Grand prix was the british gp at Silverstone in 1987 , the year Nigel mansell swept past Nelson Piquet on the either last or second last lap what a amazing race and the atmosphere , well i have never seen it beaten since , simply amazing .
Anyone else remember that race or was there ?

Welcome Alex.I think this qualifies for the Nostalga forum lol.gif GPT is for discussing the journey?
There is already a long thread for 'first GP race'

Well, Rob29 is right... but why not share the experience here to?
It ain't like we are clogging up the server on THIS particular forum.

That race will 'live in infamy' as one of the most dramatic of Nigel's time behind the wheel.

I was in Albany, New York with the Everly Brothers....they opened the hotel bar for us so we could watch it on ESPN.

Vivid as yesterday....
