Hi, I was just wondering if anybody had information on what is happening in Montreal this year. The official web site say " the schedule won't be released until a few? weeks before the event". How are we supposed to plan now for the event five months from now? We would like to go to the pit walk through if it is being offered this year and need to book time off work accordingly. Thanks in advance.

IM going this year tho I dont know the itenerary either. I'm leaving thursday morning from Washington DC, so I'll miss any events they have during the daytime.

I'm gonna get there Thursday in case they have anything good going on. Never been to Montreal.
Also I might be looking to do a ticket swap... my Sat seat in gs 12 sec 6 for one in gs 24. But I don't wanna swap through the mail. Is there a particular spot during the race where people do swaps? I'm guessing that a large number of fans won't wanna be stuck in the same seat for three days in a row

They've done the pit walk every time I have gone ('04, '05, '06) but this year I am not going so maybe there won't be a pit walk.

No, seriously, the pit walk is usually on Thursday morning, should end around 1 pm.

About ticket swapping, there are LOADS of scalpers, you will see them once you get off the Jean Drupeau metro station.

When do tix sell out for the race? I wont be prepared to buy until April I want to make sure they wont be sold out.

You might be able to buy tix in April but I am afraid you won't be able to buy the best ones, but like I said, there are LOADS of scalpers, just be prepared to pay a lot.

I bought 22 like a month before the GP in 06, 31 and 33 were sold out.
