The Oulton Park Archive has over the years been neglected / plundered.
Since I started work there, I am trying to rebuild it and put some things on show at the circuit.
So I am interested to hear from anyone who has anything to donate etc.
Please contact me on the forum or at the circuit if you can help.

Thanks
Phil H

PS On a personal note I am collecting / collating stuff from the Aurora series and am equally glad to hear from anyone on this too.

In the mid 80s I was offered ALL the photographs from the office (2 very large cardboard boxes full) by the old dear (I can't remember her name) who ran the place and who never EVER saw a race. Pictures of the earth moving to create the original circuit for example.
The idea was initially vetoed by the house dragon, and it took me a couple of weeks to persuade her that it was a good idea. When I went back to collect them the old dear said "Oh I put them in the bins last week". This demonstrates why one should never rely on womans sense of what is important.

Phil...good to see you posting. I'm sure you will get some response.

See you again at the next UK northern gathering?

Welcome, Phil.

As promised at previous Northern gatherings, I shall let you have some Aurora F1 stuff - given time!
