Hi,

Quick note to let you know that over the last 3 or 4 days i have to re-login into autosport.com. During that session it is fine but if i close the browser and come back later in the day i need to re-login again.

Has there been any issues?

I'll take the liberty to presume your browser cookies support has been disabled or limited, i.e. they are kept only for the current session and then deleted. Have you by chance upgraded the browser recently? Or installed/modified firewall or antivirus settings?
Depending on the browser those options are on different places but the common name to look for is cookie(s).
On my PCs cookies are treated as temporary (session) cookies by default and have entered manually in the exceptions list (look for 'Exceptions' button) those sites whose cookies I trust - i.e. autosport.com.
There should be a button 'Clear cookies' and by clicking on it you clear all previously remembered ones and start on clear list, which I recommend to do.
Also find a button names 'Clear cache' and click on it just in case the cache has gone out of sync.
Autologin is working for me, so the reason is somewhere on your PC.

Thanks for the answer... i havent updated any browser or settings. I use Opera.

I tried what you said and cleared by cache, and history, and cookies. Problem is still occuring however. Very strange. Im not sure why its doing it.

I haven't worked with Opera and don't know its settings. I'm using Mozilla FireFox and on the screenshot below you can see the setup dialogs. If there is an option to see the active cookies you can first check their presence while you are logged into tis BB. Then, after you close Opera and restart it but without opening any Autosport related web address check again for those cookies. Their presence or absence may give a clue where to look for the problem.

Good answer, Dragonfly. Thanks

You're welcome. smile.gif

Edit: Had some problems with ImageShack.

I cleaned out the cache and cookies again today and this time it seems to have worked! I dont know what i did wrong the first time but all good now. Thanks for your help.

This is as good a place as any (including a new thread ;) to say that something in the way the site generates cookies has improved over the past month, because I no longer have to take as many precautions against losing posts I'm working on.

The links are working very well. up.gif
