No, not at all.

There were not too many H1R in France, assuming that this was a French rider. I had already left for "better pastures" by that time so I am at a loss, but could it be the unfortunate Ravel? The only "other" I can think of is Eric Offenstadt. You tell us...

This is not a french rider and its a 4 stroker.

I must have somewhere in my hard-disks a picture of you while you were racing in France taken by my very good friend François Beau.
I shall try to find it next week.

Francois Beau was my friend too but I have not seen him in 37 years... I saw Christian Lacombe in the late 1970's when I went to Daytona with him at the "200" and we saw Barry Sheene explode his tire on the banking at 170MPH... we went to see Barry at the hospital and he was in sad shape but already pinching the nurses butts... smile.gif

Most of my "good" racing pictures are from racing in the USA I am afraid! lol.gif

François and his wife Christine have gone to their house in Dakar to spend the winter in the sun.
I shall mention to him this forum and you beeing a part of it in my next mail.
