;)

I was so impressed by the speed and quality of the responses I got to my first-ever posting here that I thought I would throw in a "test" of identifying two one-off prototype GT's whose marque I do know. At roughly the same era, 1962-63 I photographed two GT specials at Silverstone, and will paste in three photo links here, to see if anyone can identify the two cars.

New to this forum's protocols, I hope this "quiz" does not count as trivial!

BTW, I recently corresponded with the mechanic who worked on Guess 1 / 2, cutting into the roofline to extend the driver's door to meet regulations.

Lastly, I noticed that there was not 100% certainty about that Diva; maybe it was Diva's first try-out of the Valkyr prototype?

Bradbury West, the quick-shooter!

Yes to both. The Lister was a Lumsden / Sargent entry.
The Tojeiro exploited the then-new aluminum Buick V-8.

Thjis forum is the bee's knees.

David, in order to help maximise your new found enjoyment of TNF it may prove beneficial to discover what has already been covered diversely, invariably in detail, via the BB Search facility at the top of the page. Click the button and follow the directions, entering The Nostalgia Forum as your material source in the l/h box, and enter any reasonable motor racing topic or name. You will be amazed at what comes up.
Similarly, just scroll back through the pages by clicking on the indicators at the bottom of the front page ,below the "all times are GMT" bar. It may often offer some answers before you ask the questions.
Enjoy it all.

Roger, thanks for that. I would never have seen the BB button; in fact only now do I see "Gallery" and something called Buddies. I am temperamentally reluctant to explore ANYTHING new on a computer screen (or even keyboard!). Cheers.
