Hey guys, Im racing in the LFS oneGP championship today and its being broadcast live on New Dimension Racing TV so if your stuck from some real racing to watch before the F1 again next week feel free to cheer me on virtually

My Formula Racing team mate, Hibex, is fighting for the title and Iv been close to wins a couple of times but have disconnected once and crashed out once whilst leading so we are both looking to maximise points which follow the F1 scoring system.

Live qual at 2.40pm
Live Race 3pm UK

The race was tricky. Its a long lap with some really high kerbs, not really suitable for F1 cars so an exceptionally high, soft setup is a necessity as not to destroy the suspension which accumlates damage when abused.

Got a safe start from 2nd and kept pressure on the leader, Wisnieski, in the early stages. He's the fastest pole this side of Robert Kubica :) I took the lead on lap 3 after Wis fell fowl of one of the high kerbs on an uphill corner exit. A few laps later an exceptionally long SC period from another incident meant the tyres cooled too much and I had a fair few near montoya moments with the TC off trying to keep the rears warm before the restart :) Once the race was back underway I generally kept the tempo up and the mistakes down till the end :)

My heart was beating about x2 my resting rate for the pretty much the whole race. Cant imagine what its like for real drivers having to resist the g-forces etc but id love to find out!

Race replays are here (if you dont have game, get it here http//www.lfs.net )

thanks for the replays. Was that a safety car I saw at the end of the field on lap 1?

Yeah, SC does first lap like in real F1 then pulls into pits and onto standby.

Its the FXR model, a 4wd Gt2 style car.
