I wonder if anyone can help with a bit of research : -
How many F2 Lotus 69's were made in the 1970/71 period , who were the original purchasers, and the original drivers, who were the cars subsequently sold on to ,with what success, what happened to the cars and where are they now?
I also understand some end of season old stock 59's were also converted in to 69's - or more correctly 59/69's at the end of 1969. Anyone shed any light ?
All replies gratefully received with thanks .

Here's what I know about 69s. I'm still trying to sort out the origins of three 69s raced in Irish F.Atlantic
in 1974 and the exact identity of Andy Barton's cars is a bit provisional, not least because he seems to
have had two ex Fittipaldi cars, built in different years, at the same time. If you or anyone else can help
with owners and histories on Atlantic cars that would be great.

If you go to the Historic Grand Prix site and go to event photos under
Thunderhill 2002, you will see a nice photo of Pete Lovely's Lotus 69 which
he ran at Thunderhill last spring. He still owns it, I think...
