The Dick Wallen book "Board Track, Guts, Gold & Glory" gives information on every (?) board track during the period 1910-1931.
Until now I have only read a few chapters. The Uniontown chapter I still have to read.

Gerrit:

I hope you can add to our discussion on the 1916 Uniontown Race at the thread "1916 Championship Season (USA) -- Uniontown Speedway" once you have some additional information. Would you consider the Universal Trophy Race at that venue to be a National Non-Championship Event?

As you might have noticed, I did already.
I consider the 1916 event as a national non-championship event (but who am I). AAA sanctioned the race it was only too late to be a championship event.
