How do I contact the Esso film archive ?

I am trying to contact the Esso film archive , re Irish events covered in the 1950s, thier Irish Company has no knowledge of such films , can anyone offer help?

If you have any success do let us know Edward there must be a treasure trove of motoring and motorsport films in there spanning 70 years

It started as The Standard Oil Company and the sound of the two letters S O became known as ESSO it was started by John D. Rockefeller.

Nowadays the company goes under the name of EXXON MOBIL

BP have a great library www.bpvideolibrary.com

I would have thought somewhere Esso must have one too.

Beaulieu have extensive holdings of old motoring films of all sorts. A lot of companies have placed their book and magazine archives there - might be worth a try? You can contact the Film & Video Library via the Motoring Picture Library website:
