As a Renault fan I checked the Renault data. I'm sorry to say that I found a little mistake
Renault raced with Michelin tyres in 1977 and not Goodyear.
I'm sure that with the amount of work you put in to it, a little mistake like that is easy to make.
So compliments and thanks!

After Canada GP I will correct this one.
btw. If this is only one ... then my work is done ... but I don't belive that is the case ... until next mistake ... :-)

This is really a major project of yours. Most interesting and to top it all, you are willing to share it for free. Good on you.
Several others has attempted far less spectacular and informative efforts than yours...at a price though!!
Good luck and thanks again for your efforts.

Really Impressive, besides of practice.
Seeking the GP of Mexico, find that in the column "Chassis" says BRM 3.0 V12 and in the column "Engine" says, Cooper T86B, seeking but in depth, find that all the year 68 has the same change.
Greetings.

I'm currently using this method for series like World Sportscar Championship in it's various guises, 1980's group A touring cars and NASCAR in general.

and thank you for sharing it with us.
In such amount of information some errors will always exist, so we all can help to correct them.
so, you've got to correct this ones:
in 1976 only the Team Tyrrell used the P34.
Depailler debuted the car at the Spanish GP. Only in the next GP two cars were available to Scheckter and Depailler.
In the first three GP's the 007 model was used. And all the private entries also used the 007 model.

Also in 1976 Rolf Stommelen drove a works Brabham BT45 at the German GP and not the RAM Racing's BT44B.

two more corrections:
1977 British GP - Brian McGuire drove a McGuire BM1 but not for Kojima
1977 Japanese GP - Kazuyoshi Hoshino and Noritake Takahara both drove Kojimas KE009 and not Hesketh 308E's
keep up the good work

Really? What's your source for the 'SH1' designation?Originally posted by brickyard
... and at the 1966 British GP, the Shannon Godiva should be Shannon SH1

I found a little mistake at the end of the line 17405.
It is the British GP 2001 and the data of the last 6 columns are for the 2000 French GP.
Thought it might helps.

Hi Allen,
sources: here , here , here and here .
They could be not so reliable sources but Forix and Silhouet both share the same information, so...
I have to check latter as I think I've already read something about it in Mike Lawrence's or David Hodges books.

As far as I known, the Shannon didn't have a model number or a chassis number. One wasn't mentioned in period and the car shows no signs of a number today. I record it as "Shannon 66" or "Shannon 1966/F1" to distinguish it from the later minor formulae cars. Other people call it '1'. 'SH-1' is fine too.

I would never try to impose my numbering on someone else but I might gently encourage them to use it.

Thank you Allen. That's useful information.
Since it's a one-off F1 car, I'll correct my data and simply call it Shannon.
BTW, I have another question/correction to make:
At the 1952 German GP there was a driver racing there called Bernd (or Benhardt) Nacke. But that racer's name was in fact a pseudonym of Karl-Gunther Bechem who was again present the following year. My question is, should those two names be treated as two different entities or should appear as one and only?
thanks!

or, if it fits your database searchability better (and searchability is the reason for storing the information in a database) do:
1952 as Bernd Nacke (pseudonym of Karl-Gunther Bechem), and
1953 as Karl-Gunther Bechem (who sometimes used pseudonym Bernd Nacke)

Sorry to be vulgar (yet again) - but I genuinely recall the Shannon being described by its driver at Brands Hatch as the above with the addition of a final 'T'.
