Hi All
I'm looking for the start numbers and driver / navigator of the works Sunbeam Tigers o the 64 Geneva Rally.
I think there were three works cars in the event ?

I don't have any details, but the finishing results shown in Automobile Year #12 list the following Tigers:
11th place: Lewis & Barry (GB)
15th place: Riley & Turvey (GB)
20th place: Mrs. Smith & Mrs. Mackensie (GB)
The winner was Greder & Delalande (F) in a Ford Falcon.

I'm still a little confused as I have a photo (sorry can't post as scanner not working ) that has Tiger ADU 312B with start number 134.
I thought it looked like a Geneva Rally plate on the car but I may be wrong.
Does the start No.134 on ADU 312B mean something ?

Many thanks for your input, now you say Alpine Rally I can see the plate is in the Alpine plate style.

A few names in that list, what happened to them and where are they now?
Terry Hunter?
Barry Hughes?
Rosemary Smith married, divorced and became Smith again
Margaret MacKenzie married Joe Lowrey and still is 40 years later.
William B #12 is 'Whizzo'!

Tom Trana's co-driver Gunnar Thermaenius was killed in an accident in the UK on a road section of the 1965 Gulf London Rally. Subsequent repercussions prevented Trana from coming to the UK for the 65 RAC Rally to go for a third consequtive win. Linking with an old thread on here, It was either this car or the other official PV544 from the 65 Gulf that Patrick Head later owned?
One or two others on the list I believe are no longer with us but as I'm not 100% sure, I'll not mention names.
Don't think Eric Carlsson has ever truly retired from working for Saab in PR. I had heard recently Pat Moss-Carlsson was not in good health - always a cause for concern when someone is known as such a heavy smoker.

Barry Hughes is my Dad - or at least one of the Barry Hughes's is!! There were two rallying at the same time, would you believe?
I can tell you he is alive and well and living in deepest Warwickshire.
In that list for the 64 Geneva, they have his name the wrong way round!
But that's my Dad and his plates adorn his garage wall to this day.

Many european events then (and well beyond, even up to when I did some in the 80s) would normally publish crew names in entry lists/results with surname first followed by christian name but then get it the other way round for some British crews, so it's sometimes a bit of a mix.

Sadly I knew the other one and just found confirmation of what I suspected for a long time.
'Barry competed on the first World Cup Rally organised by John Brown in a Ford Taunus driven by Frank Pierson and Ian Harwood. He was a top navigator and rival of John Brown, and counted Bill Bengry and Roy Fidler among his drivers. He was a glassblower and photographer by profession but always seemed to have time and money to be a full time competitor. There were no professional rally navigators in those days, but Barry and John were as close as one could get.
Barry came from and lived in Wrexham, and died in 1971 when he collapsed and fell into the Llangollen Canal during a rally party - his body was not found until the following day.'

Oh dear...Second mistake of late. I wrongly killed off Mike Wood when discussing Tony Fall recently! (in the latter case because an auction of his rally memorabilia, plates etc, was reported as "the late" shortly after David Siegle-Morris's similar stuff was auctioned).
Back more on the original thread title, Graham Rood's new book "The Works Tigers" doesn't seem to be published on the ususal market, just via the owners' club?
