While we're at it, let's include the team bosses planes.
Ron Dennis
Although this was his jet in Sep. 2002. He may be leasing something different by now.

Yes. Well, the people he tried to sell it to basically bankrupted it and he had to come back. The first thing he did was lay off most of the work force. Looks like the company might survive though.
The Minardi plane I posted was/is a EAL plane.

If I had a choice to pilot those, I would go with Ruben's choice. Much more agile and racerlike plane. Loads of fun compared to Michael's, which is in that comparison a "Truck".

It's quite possible those planes don't cost them a significant amount of money. As Villeneuve's management pointed out regarding the Paul Ricard sighting, his plane is often leased out to others.Originally posted by Timstr11
No wonder these guys (RS, JV) cannot handle a pay cut. They would have to cut back on their 'high flying' lifestyles. I guess as an F1 driver you have arrived if you can afford your own jet.
What about JPM?
A pre-owned jet like Villeneuve's costs 5 to 10. If it's wholly owned by him or the payments are reasonable, leasing could adsorb much of the annual costs. Depending how often he personally used the plane and how often it leased, his out of pocket expenses could be minimal or nothing. (It's much like owning a house at a popular beach or resort, leasing it out most of the year can deliver enough revenue to pay the mortgage and still allow the owners use of the house a few weeks a year.)

IIRC wasnt there something about DC having to be flown on private jet to and from testing locations. i reckon expenditure of about $500-$1mil a year on flying around.. isnt that a bit much for F-1 drivers (cept mabe MS)
