1971 Bernd Terbeck started one of Rob Lamplough's BRM 126 in the Hockenheim non championship F1 race. Any connetions with the UTA car ?
There were 3 BRM 126 - 2 BRM 133 - 2 BRM 138 and 3 BRM 139 built. All were used in 1968/69/70 by Owen Racing Organisiton or Parnell Racing in 1971 a 133 and the 126 appeared under the Lamplough banner.
Have we to wait for Doug Nye's BRM saga part 3 or has anyone some clues on the fate of the cars, Werner Bickel and UTA Racing

Motor Sport shows Bickel as #25 in the entry list, but doesn't specify a model of BRM.

Unfortunately the name seems to be quite common. About 21,000 hits in Google search:

And sorry, I do not know anything about him. My interest in this subject is only, because so many people have already asked me for him.

He drove a Fiat Abarth 1000 in some rounds of the German Championship
Anymore results?

It was merged in 1963 from the tow french airlines
COMPAGNIE de TRANSPORTS AERIENS INTERCONTINENTAUX (TAI) and
UNION AEROMARITIME de TRANSPORT (UAT)
In 1992 the the airline became part of Air France
and this is the petrol card service UTA also founded in 63. I think this would fit better for a german racing team.http://www.uta.de/pu...1257102005268B2?

There were three P139s and, by May 1970, 139-01 had been sold off to Fred Burt, 139-02 was still with the factory (and would remain so for years) and 139-03 was owned by Gerry Kinnane who had some idea that John Pollock would race it in a few GPs; it returned to BRM in November that year and was flogged off to Bill Jones instead.
All this from the ownership histories prepared for Doug's BRM books.
It is possible Bickel thought he'd done a deal with Kinnane or that he thought he'd done a deal to race the works 139-02.

I think it'd be Volume 4 actually -- vol. 3 will be on the V8 monocoque cars, Vol 4 on the H16, the V12s and the Can-Am cars. Sorry to prolong the wait ;)
