I searched the archives and didn't find anything on this awesome website. So I hope I'm not repeating info already posted.

http://www.vsrnonlin.../VSRN_Main.html - the Vintage Slot Racing Newsletter

Lots of good information here!

A few line drawings:

:) That's err... most interesting - it even contains touring cars...
It's not covered before IIRC - we did have information about paper model cars, but not this...

The originals of these drawings all appeared in an English slot racing magazine called Model Cars, back in the 60s and 70s.

Frank, I have actually visited the site quite some time ago, and I have those drawings archived... :smoking:

But it was nice to be reminded of it, I had forgotted how much information it really contained

One could spend a lot of time on that site, if so inclined ..... ;) anyway, here's a couple of more pages that are sort of hidden:

These are from Car Model and Scale Modeler magazines.

CJE

Here's another line drawing (the HWM of 1951-52) from the days of my youth and slot racing mania.

It would be great if we could recover all those line drawings and made them available in the net

Here are a couple of additional links to scale model plans on the VSRN site

http://vsrnonline.co...dex_3Views.html

http://vsrnonline.co...llSizeCars.html

The above links are to scale plans drawn by Jonathan Thompson and were published in Model Car & Track magazine in the 1960s.

In addition, Greg (who runs the VSRN site) has scanned and sells CDs with the complete run of Model Roads & Racing + Miniature Auto World and Miniature Auto. These magazines have additional modeling plans.

Also, Scale Models and Scale Models International published scale plans drawn by Roger Taylor from 1970 to the late 1980s and then a couple of set when Scale Models International resumed publication after 2000. Does anyone know if Roger Taylor published any model plans during the 1990s? I am looking for scale plans of Group C cars and F1 cars from the 1990s and would appreciate any assistance.

Bill

Staffan

I hve registered, but I am unable to access the scale plans.
How, precisely, have I to do ? Where do I find them ? If you could guide me through this new site I would be grateful.
