I have created a website with about 150 Can Am and Formula F5000 photos from the early 70's. All the photos were taken at Mid Ohio. Some of the drivers I wasn't sure who they were but most of them I have labeled. All the photos were taken by my father. he is a professional photographer so I feel they are pretty good. I have about 3-4 hundred more to scan and post on the site but I haven't found the time yet. I will be posting photos of other types of racing as well. Probably sprint cars will be my next catagory. Check them out and let me know what you think.

Rob,
Those photos are FANTASTIC! I attended those races. In fact, the first race I ever attended was the 1972 Can Am at Mid-Ohio, and after that, you couldn't keep me away from the place. Great photos, and great to see the driver photos from the paddock, since I never made it to the paddock until after the day's racing activities were concluded. Looking at these brings back some great memories.
From 1973:
Untitled 13 – John Gunn (not sure if he spelled it "John" or "Jon". Someone here will know.)
Untitled 14 – Peter Gregg

Great array of pics there...
From 1973 again... Car No 1 is Graham McRae, that's pics 12 & 13
Car 25 is John Walker (Matich), pic 14
Car 3 is Frank Matich (Matich), pic 16
Car 14 is Bob Muir (Lola), pic 29
I don't know who it is in car number 13, but it's another Matich.
There's a second link, but it appears to be the same as the first... but it doesn't work!
