Porsche 911 production in 1972

In 1972 I had the opportunity to take a tour of the Porsche 911 production line. This was when the cars still had a significant amount of handwork in their assembly. Compared to the clinical production facilities of today, thirty odd years ago it was very different.
The following are some of the photos that I took.
If there is interest I will upload the rest of the photos.

Curt,
They were taken on 4 July 1972 - At the time I was in the US Air Force and stationed in Wiesbaden. 4 July is an American holiday and as it fell during the work week it was a great opportunity to visit Porsche.
I hope to post the rest of the photos next week.

I was lucky to have a tour as a 17 year old in 1987. It really wasn't very different - apart from the 959's all over the place I now have a 1981 911 of my own.
