Yes, got my copy on Monday!

It looks like being another great edition. So far I've watched part 2 of the WB interview and also the Bira DVD project taster - can't wait for the finished article :) !

I think it's one of the best. Highlights for me are the films of the 1953 and '67 seasons. The '53 film is a poor quality print, but there are wonderful shots of 500cc F3s racing anti-clockwise round the short Brands Hatch - no Druids loop. The cameraman must have been suicidal to get into some of the positions he did. There are also excellent shots of the British Grand Prix. The '67 film is another produced by the BRSCC. It is topped and tailed by the Race of Champions and the BOAC 500; that alone should be enough to make you buy it. In between there is enthusiastic club racing at Brands, Oulton and Castle Combe. The style of the 1960 Acropolis film will be familiar to anybody who has seen previous MFQs, WB is as entertaining as in the last edition, and the Bira film is a lovely taster of what David Wegeulin has apparently been working on for the last 30 years.

You don't mean.................THREE Ferrari P4s and a P3/4?

(OK Tony, I knew what you meant!)

Actually I've got an old video with the RoC and BOAC on - and if it's the same one, the RoC footage didn't have the original sounds, it had been dubbed with what sounded like a clubbie race!

I received MFQ 14 as a Christmas present yesterday. Brilliant stuff so far. I've watched the 1952 film ; very nice footage of 500cc's at Brands 'round the wrong way', and the sneak preview fo the Bira film is brilliant, I can't wait for the finished article, trouble is, I'll probably be drawing my pension when it DOES arrive!! LOL

I also received MFQ14 for Christmas. (as well as numbers 10,11,12) Another great compilation from Dong. It was great to see the BOAC but the highlight was the car driving out of the carpark with the wing on top of it!
The Bira preview has me hanging out for the full story.
Doug, (or Gary C) Ray Bell has a great film of some 250Fs racing at Albert Park that would go great on MFQ15.

...which has, at great expense, just been professionally recorded on DVD....

Which means the quality of the 16mm film, which would have been shown only very sparingly since early 1956, has been retained.

.....PS. Mountain Man, you forgot to mention the personal shots of Jones and Davison and Hunt, and the Cooper JAPs and the D-Type and the various Specials and the copper crossing the track and the on-site wheel balancing and all that other stuff!

Not received it yet, I'll have to give Motor Sport a bell.
