I'm working on 1981 Long Beach Grand Prix analysis and looking for lap times. Can anyone help?

I have full race video and lap charts but lap times can give better information.

I recall that the italian magazine Rombo did publish all lap times around that time. Havent gotta copy though.

I'll be able to give you an answer in the very first days of january as I should take my '79-'83 Grand Prix INternational magazines back. Then I'll give you the exact lap times.

Just curiosity, but why are you analyzing that Grand Prix? For a simulation (for I am playing the 1982 season now...)

Rombo was born one months later that GP, the first one reported by them was San Marino 1981.
And IIRC, Rombo didn't publish lap times and lap chart. Autosprint did from 1981 to early 1990s, but I don't recall if they published also Long Beach GP or not. I can check.

Which simulation? I don't know what's it.

I just write articles on races from various periods.

Autosprint (issue # 13/1981, page 6) published nearly all times scored lap by lap by some drivers: Jones, Reutemann, Piquet, Andretti, Giacomelli, Pironi, Patrese, Cheever, Villeneuve and Tambay.
