Probably an easy one for the regulars but does anyone know what this is?

Had a 4-cyl BMW engine in the back.

Almost looks like an Alfa Romeo/Auto Delta 33 TT/12 Spider from the '70s.

Definitely an Osella, I think a PA3 from about 1975?

Found a couple of pics on my camera.
This was at a trackday I did at Spa on Tuesday. There was also a Bizzarini there but they struggled to get it to run so the Osella(?) replaced it in the garage next to me. There was also a Jag C-Type and a D-Type going round.

Did it really race in the LMES Pedro, surely it wouldn't have been eligible. Do you mean a support race ?

There's a LMES "Classic Endurance" series too.

It's also been racing in the Orwell Supersports Cup.
Know someone who races in this and saw the sticker on one of my pictures.

Speaking of that helmet "design"... Are there any rules/regulations/laws(?) about having something like that on a helmet? Maybe in club racing or something like that, but I could only imagine what Max/Bernie would say if an F1 driver showed up with something like that.

Yesterday (19th April) was a test day at Spa. There were 3 Formula 1 cars: Lotus 76, Surtees TS16/2 and the Minardi M185 from Rodrigo Gallego.

It was the first day in Europe for the Lotus 76 (JPS10), the new owner bought it in the USA in January, it was his first test in the car.

Lotus 76 airbox (1974) compared to the Lotus 72 (1975) one.

Given the number of times it was photographed, sponsors here would love to put their name on it.
I think Bernie would love it. It brought many smiles to the people's faces when he walked through the pitlane.
BTW : the figure on the helmet is Joe Dalton from the Lucky Luke comic series, check it out here
