It was the first day in Europe for the Lotus 76 (JPS10), the new owner bought it in the USA in January, it was his first test in the car.
Lotus 76 airbox (1974) compared to the Lotus 72 (1975) one.

Speaking of that helmet "design"... Are there any rules/regulations/laws(?) about having something like that on a helmet? Maybe in club racing or something like that, but I could only imagine what Max/Bernie would say if an F1 driver showed up with something like that.
Given the number of times it was photographed, sponsors here would love to put their name on it.
I think Bernie would love it. It brought many smiles to the people's faces when he walked through the pitlane.
