I think they are not ready. What do you think?

I hope they are. And todays quali was very encouraging.

Let's wait until tomorrow and see fuel loads at least. BMW did pretty well in qualifying last year too - they sandwiched the 2nd McLaren, almost the same as this year. Isn't it a bit premature to talk about wins?

I think they will win 2 races this year, maybe 3. My prediction!

We haven't seen their race pace or their rate of development of their cars. A few more races and we can tell.

Yes, they'll win one or two races. (I wrote that on the 19th of Jan)

Yes. It is easier to be ready to lose.

Why not? They looked plenty fast enough in qualy. In my book if under normal circumstances you are fast enough to challenge for pole you are fast enough to challenge for a win.

They can win races with a little bit of luck. In wet conditions and when Ferrari and McLaren retire. They won't win this race though but Robert may get 3rd.

I think they might win several races this year. They are just too damn underrated since the end of last season already.

Yes, they are ready. Kubica nearly took the POLE today.

I think during the season they won't always be there like yesterday - given what Kubica says about the car being very hard to setup. Sometimes they'll be a bit lost.

However, yesterday they seemed stronger than last year, and overall I'm expecting more randomness of results this year due to the ban of TC (a lot more drivers making mistakes during the race). They were already a bit unlucky not to get a win last year, so I think they'll finally do it this time.

In a couple hours we'll get a better picture of where exactly they stand. And with a lot of luck this question might already be irrelevant if Kubica takes his maiden win in Melbourne. :)

According to theissen, they are not ready yet but but plan to catch the big two later in the season, that said one can tell from what we have seen so far that the pilot has now much more importance than last year, so if one of the driver to drive perfectly a whole week end, a win might become reality.
