DO NOT START VOTING UNTIL THE RACE IS OVER!!!

------------------------------------------
Remember to consider the whole weekend, not just the race. Also remember that it's the driver's performance that should be rated, not the car's.
------------------------------------------
Step 1 - GP takes place & voting opens
Step 2 - Everybody votes according to these rules:

* You can give a driver either three, two or one point. (Or zero, which is default.)

* You can distribute no more than ten points (but less if you want to).

* You need to vote for at least two drivers.

If I feel you are simply voting for the fav driver each time I'll put you on the ignore list for a while. (I won't be voting myself, to make it fairer). Motivating your own and politely discussing other peoples votes is fine, but ridiculing other people's votes will get you ignored. Posts should be along the lines of:

...3 points: the driver/s you think did the best job during the weekend
...2 points: the next best ones
...1 point: the ones after that

Make it clear which driver you mean. Votes that are too unspecific will be ignored.

Step 3- Voting will close in about a week

Step 4 - I'll add up the total number of votes. This will produce a 'race result'. Should drivers have the same voting score then I will split them by who has had the most Top Votes. If that fails then in reversed race result order.

Step 5 - The drivers will then be awarded championship points on a 10-8-6-5-4-3-2-1 system.
---------------------------------------------

------------------------------------------
Rate the race
------------------------------------------
Please rate the race from 0-10, using the following guide.

Quality of race
This should be a reflection of how good the race was, not how much you liked the results. Please don't give it a one or two just because driver X failed to win the championship. Think about how much it had your pulse racing and you guessing at what the end result was going to be. Use the guide below to help, and think carefully. Try to compare it not just to the last few races, but all the grand prix you've ever watched. Votes of 9 and 10 should be quite rare.

10 The best race I've ever seen
9 Contender for the best race of the last few seasons
8 Contender for the best race of the season
7 Brilliant race, I was on the edge of my seat for a lot of the race
6 Better than average, more than a few on the edge the seat moments
5 An average race, nothing spectacular but worth watching
4 Below average, too few exciting moments
3 Well, there was one or two moments of interest
2 That was completely predictable
1 I struggled to watch it all the way through
0 I slept through most of it

Satisfaction with the results
Please also rate the race in terms of how satisfied you are with the results. This one
should be based on if driver X wins the championship or not! Also factors such controversy
over DQ's that sour the event should be considered.

10 All the right results, and done with style
9 All the right results, if not in the best manner
8 Mostly the right results
7 Mostly the right results with a bit of luck
6 Some of drivers/teams I liked did well
5 Neither happy nor sad with the results
4 My likes didn't quite manage to do well
3 My likes did quite badly
2 My likes did quite badly and my dislikes did good
1 All the wrong drivers/teams did very well but I'll give them credit for doing it well
0 All the wrong drivers/teams did very well and the right ones did badly

Note: people who are on the Voting Championship ignore list can still participate in Rate the race.

Lewis Hamilton - 2pts (in a class of his own in the race, and would've won by a huge margin if not for the SC's)
Nico Rosberg - 2pts (half-bad Q-pace, very good race-pace)
Rubens Barrichello - 2pts (his best performance for a very long time)
Fernando Alonso - 1pt (for his race-performance)
Robert Kubica - 1pt (the quicker BMW-driver)
Sebastien Bourdais - 1pt (for his race craft)
Nick Heidfeld - 1pt (he got the result, but he was too far off Kubica's pace in the first stint)

wow. That's a mind blowing (and engine-blowing, car-wrecking, etc) race. I think even the most rabit tifosi will agree it was a quite statement for the new, eletronic-less Formula One. Lots of people deserve recognition here:
3 points when everybody thought he would not have his chance on F-1, Sebastién Bourdais showed what he was made of. Fantastic debut. We also have to praise Nico Rosberg For pushing to the end, and not fearing cars supposedly faster behind him. Great weekend for the team, even better for him.

2 points Pole, a race without mistakes (unlike 70%-80% of the grid) and already 9 points ahead of one of his main rivals for the title. The weekend couldn't be sweeter to Lewis Hamilton

1 point Impressive pace saturday, lost a pole that would shake he F-1 analysts and surelly would make a different sunday. Congratualtions to Robert Kubica. And, last but not least, Heikki Kovalainen, a great debut at the Silver Arrow, showing doubters he probably has what it takes to shine in f-1.

Quality: the only thing that we didn't saw in this race was rain and the kitchen sink, even if Barrichello almost dragged this last one with him on that pitstop. Let's say 8

Satisfaction: It would be better if Super Aguri and Force India managed to get some points. Nevertheless, 7, good show by the survivors

Hamilton: 3 (Flawles weekend, althou I don't buy those I pitted early remarks.)
Kovalainen: 2 (Perfect, almost... too many buttons in the wheel nowadays)
Rosberg: 2 (Solid)
Bourdais: 1 (Bad quali but nice race)
Heidfeld: 1 (Solid as ever)
Räikkönen: 1 (Fun so far it lasted. Mistakes for over trying, nice effort anyway)

Quality: 8

Best race of the season, by a margin, so far... Nice to see some sliding around, mistakes of those who rarely commit 'em. Demolition derby sorta)

Satisfaction: 4

Ferrari was a disaster, safety car ruined Kovalainen's possible maiden win and a certain 2nd place. Gotta be a bit happy for Rosberg.

Bourdais - 2 (quietly done his job)
Hamilton - 2 (what do you expect, a fast charging BMW ready to pass him?)
Heidfeld - 2 (another solid performer)
Rosberg - 2 (huge potential, great race)
Kubica - 1 (a reward for his Saturday performance)
Trulli - 1 (another Saturday high-performer, I had a giggle when he rushed out from his car due to the overheated battery during pit stop)

Quality - 8 lots of action, SC period really help to close the gap between drivers....hence, more tyre-banging racing

Satisfaction - 8 Nick on podium, shame about Ferrari though.

Great start to the season. Shame about the 1st corner losing so many - Massa, Jense, Webbo, and SC's a frustration, but action all the way.
