I doubt Honda can get back to their '06 level of performance just like that though, but clearly they'll improve. Absolutely. They'll have a better balanced car, with more speed, enabling BOTH drivers to score points, and definately more than six in total.
And if Brawn is to sit on the pit-straight, he'll make sure they leap up to net one point if they're running ninth.
Really, they're more competitive than I thought they'd be, even if I was one of a very small group that wasn't so negative about them.
They're definately in the big midfield-group.
....
6th in the opening race is a bit flattering though, as it wasn't on merit completely. Having said that, Barrichello's pace was very good, not very far off Heidfeld and Trulli.
4th fastest in free pratctice doesn't mean **** though.

So please get better Honda and beat Hamilton. Then I can buy big Macs every day for a year.
I think the odds were something daft like 501 to 1.

They wrote the car off in testing.
Still, this is a development season and the team is being very conservative about their performance which is nice to see since in previous years they have been a little too arrogant in their pre-season statements.
Jenson is saying 'practice is just practice, we won't be fourth tomorrow' and he's probably right.
Once again, testing and practice aren't the race.

Ross Braun will crack some heads together.
With him, Honda no longer have any excuses.

Ferrari
McLaren
Honda
Renault
BMW
Williams
Just want to shake things up and put Honda up there since no one else is brave enough to.
Honda, I just want them to do well, and I think they wrote off this season early enough to get a larger head start on 2008 than anyone else. Sack Rubens though, he has no ambition anymore.
I was also wrong about Barrichello, he's racing like he wants to once again: thanks Ross!

It has been a pleasant surprise to see they are thick in the mid-field for now.
