I have mentioned it before in the 'Books' section but "Call Me Charlie", Lord Brockett's autobiography is an entertaining read-the time he spent in jail was pretty harrowing apparently. The book is available on Amazon for next to nothing or probably in your local bookstore for 2/6.

Incidentially - I have read the book only a few weeks ago, very entertaining, indeed.

Arjan,

I would regard 0138AM originally as a 340 American Vignale Cabriolet, with a heavier body and full top. It was one of the ten cars Vignale built using the "crossbar" grille. It was "restored" as a 340 American Vignale Spyder, copied from 0140 AM -- a body it never carried. (I believe it now may have a 250 GT engine installed.)

From the assembly sheets, 0239 EU/0292 M was described as a 212 Inter. That was one car the good lord completely bastardized.
