I thought all the MS fans might be interested to hear that Schumi has just opened a new personal website.

link: http://www.michael-schumacher.de

It provides current news on what he's up to as well as photos, shopping and a review of his years in F1.

It's worth checking out.

Here is the article where I got my info from;

Here's a quote from MS himself regarding his "new" site.

Schumacher says of his new site: "It's nice to know that my fans, or anyone else who is interested, now have somewhere to start looking for relevant information."

For someone as high profile as MS and the significance of having a "personal' website, I would not expect factual and typographical errors like this:

"Corinna and I have always said that we would prefer if Nick did not want to become a racring driver, already his name which would be a big burden for him."

The Racring is some 25 km south of the Nürburgring. Schumi actually got his start racing at The Rac.

The stats section is also brilliant - great summary of indiviual races and overall records. Gee, he mucked up a few races in late 2004, he should have collected 15 or 16 that year. ...

"Personal" website?!?!? Ha!
Like hell it is.
Are you gullible enough to believe that Michael EVER sits down to write a bit of code for this site? That he would do a bit of HTML programming perhaps? That he would spend a lazy sunday afternoon exploring different fonts and layouts? That he packages up the boxes of stuff you buy in the shop?

The following is a far more accurate description...
Design and construction are the work of adrivo Sportpresse GmbH. This full-service provider
operates adrivo.com, one of the most influential and widely read motorsports websites in the
German-speaking world, and from now on will also be managing Michael Schumacher's web presence.

I doubt Michael has ever ever even visited the site.

This is semantics, but the politician of the day that opens a local leisure centre, or shopping centre or whatever rarely, has any role in it's construction.

But they are often written as 'opening' said object.

I think the OP's English was fine. I don't see why the need for any particular correction.

I doubt Michael has ever ever even visited the site.

Schumi reads autosport.com, odds are he probably _has_, then, visited his own website :-)

No - that was Senna's site you're thinking of. (I'll give you the benefit of the doubt and presume you're not one of those hypocrites who regards Senna's cuts as Ok, and Schumi's (always legal) cuts as somehow morally dubious?)

"Personal" in this context means;

a/ MS owns the site.
b/ MS provides information for the site regarding personal opinions, test schedules etc.

It doesn't mean that he is the webmaster. There are all kinds of personal websites that are built and operated by someone other than the owner of the site.

On his website, if you go to his race results, and then 1994, it says for Imola "Senna, Ratzenberger and a marshal die". Did a marshal die because I have never heard this?
