I think it's on Star Sports as well as Fox Sports. Both in English.

You could try the Carsberg Sports bar in Leicester square. They are showing the race live on Sunday. http://www.thecasino...berg-sports-bar

I want to watch the US gp in Austin this year.  I am not going to spend $4k+ on the main grandstand etc, I am looking at a few turns, may be turn 4, or 11.  Any suggestions? Anybody been there?  It expensive to get a pass for parking also. I wonder if there are nearby places that offer shuttless etc.

Anyone can recommend a good place to watch the race in Milan this Sunday?

@conosur: vertigo is no longer there , now is called the Brewhouse . I remember this place very well because this is where all the meetup f1 fans gathered to watch the disappointing season finale in Abu Dhabi back in 2010. :(

Thanks Conosur - tried this site and the recommended pub last week. Only recorded programmes. After 11pm don't think there is anywhere. Cheers.

That's tougher than you would think.

A channel called Smart Spor (which has NO web site and no info about it anywhere) has the local coverage but is SUPER hard to find.

Try ..

The James Joyce pub

İstiklal Caddesi, Balo Sokak 26, Beyoğlu

They Might have it or some other broadcast

Unfortunately I have no specific recommendations.

It should be on the NBC Sports Network though  so you should hunt down someplace that has the channel and will be showing it. Maybe you can find a hotel/motel that has that channel.

Good luck.

General question regarding watch F1 in the US as ill be over the pond for around 5 GPs this season, is NBC sports a paid channel?

If so how would one receive this service, can you get in on a laptop or is a TV required?

So, finding somewhere to watch Oz in Agadir was hard/impossible.

The hotel I was in didn't have Satielitte TV and the one place I found that did wouldn't open at 6am on a Sunday (I wonder why.......) to show it.

I ended up watching it on the Live Text here on Autosport.

Of course, during the week I remembered that I have SkyGo on my phone and the Hotel Wifi would have easily supported it as i later found out. What a muppet!

I will be in Madonna di Campiglio this weekend. Anyone know a good breakfast place that might show the GP?

Alternatively: What channel show F1 in Italy? Maybe I can watch it in the hotel room.

Hey guys, this is my first Grand Prix whilst i'm living in the US (probably for the remainder of this year). Specifically I'm in Burlington, just outside of Boston, MA.

I watched the qualifying today using a VPN client and the BBC iPlayer, I've also got a Sky Go account but I had trouble logging in this morning. Regardless of that, my apartment WiFi is terrible for streaming

... so I'd like to know of the best way to catch the races for the rest of the season.

I've got a TV in the apartment with a bunch of channels, but haven't really explored yet. Is there any US free-to-air coverage of the Grand Prix, and if so is it any good? (commentary good? full of commercial breaks? etc).

Any help would be appreciated, and I'm not opposed to getting up early and finding a nice place to have breakfast and watch the race tomorrow... if anyone has any recommendations?

Hi Fonzey
NBCSN is the channel you want.
It's the one that plays the friggin' Hockey.

Good luck

Thanks Jon, I did some channel hopping this afternoon and found NBCSN on my TV, Yay!

Shame there's no HD in the hotel... but it'll do I guess! What's the coverage like in regards to commercial breaks during the race etc? I'll need to decide on the trade-off between an occasionally buffering stream from the UK, or NBCSN with potential frequent ad-breaks (seems to be a theme on US TV channels!)

NBCSN was acceptable today, good technical knowledge by the presenting team. The ad-breaks were annoying when accustomed to BBC/Sky coverage, but the picture-in-picture combined with live timing app makes up for things.

Update on Bangkok and where to watch F1

Try Chequers Sports Bar, about 100m down Soi 4 Sukumvit (Soi Nana).

All the practices, quali and the race, Sky F1 coverage via slingbox from the UK, FIA live timing on laptop and for the race, ESPN (Fox) HD.

Knowledgeable fans, cold beer,,, what's wrong with this picture?
